Indigenuity Lab partnered with Lucy Bradlow, gender equality specialist and policy expert to deliver a desktop review on Self-determination in Infrastructure in Victoria. The scope of works will provide a foundational level of wisdom to support the development of the next iteration of the Victorian Infrastructure Strategy.

The project is an instrumental opportunity to influence systemic change needed in infrastructure to pave the way for Traditional Owner led practices and greater self-determination in projects on Country.

The Self-determination in Infrastructure document outlines what self-determination means for Traditional Owners in Victoria in the context of infrastructure. It compares Victoria progress to interstate, national and international standards. The document outlines challenges that are experienced throughout infrastructure projects and provides opportunities to strengthen the current approach through a multitude of mechanisms.
